The Brazilian Cheesebread Waffle

If you already stepped into a Brazilian Pastry Shop or a Brazilian Coffee Shop, you probably have already seen a Pão de Queijo. This brazilian “muffin” is made with manioc flour, mixed with eggs and a very traditional cheese in the country, called Minas Cheese. Its texture, fat and flavour is very similar to Parmesan. In this version, you will try it as a waffle. You may find it more simple, fun to make and as delicious as the traditional version. This waffle is a breakfast king. And you may want to serve it along with a nice Brazilian Specialty Coffee. Hope you guys have fun in the kitchen.

Instruções de preparo
  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender for 3 minutes until the batter is smooth.
  2. Let the batter rest for 3-5 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat your waffle machine.
  3. Sit the batter into the waffle machine and let it cook until it's golden and crispy.
  4. Serve along with some 100% arabica Brazilian Specialty Coffee.
